Our Helper

 

 

 

Romans 8:26 (NKJV)

 

26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

 

The Holy Spirit is our helper. Sometimes we do not know what to pray for. This scripture doesn't say we do not know HOW to pray, but WHAT to pray for. That is where the Holy Spirit comes in. He is here to help us. This is one reason why being filled with the Holy Spirit is so important. He wants to help us in prayer.
