Our Shield And Fortress

 

 

 

Psalm 91:2 (NKJV)

 

2 I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust."

 

The Psalmist here is saying that the Lord is his refuge. Our Lord Jesus is our refuge. He is our fortress. What is a fortress? A place of strength, safety and protection. We too should trust in God and His Word. God's Word also is a place of protection and safety.
