Pay Attention To The Word Of God

 

 

 

Proverbs 4:20-23 (NKJV)

 

20 My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings.

 

21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart;

 

22 For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.

 

The words and sayings being referred to here are the Word of God. We must give attention to the Word of God on a consistent basis. We must keep the Word in the midst of our heart which is our spirit. This verse also tells us that when we do that there are results that are produced. This verse tells us that the words we keep in the midst of our heart, meaning God's Word, are life to those that find them and health to all their flesh. There is life and health contained in the Word of God so we must not lose sight of God's Word.
