Qualified To Partake

Colossians 1:12 (NKJV)

12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.

In this scripture, the word qualified means "able to". So what this verse is saying is that God has qualified us to partake of the inheritance that has been provided through Jesus. Even though you are qualified to partake of something, if YOU do not act on it, it will not benefit you.

We must act on this fact that we are qualified or able to partake of our inheritance. That is where our faith comes in. We must put action to our belief. A partaker of something implies action. So be a partaker of what is rightfully yours.
