Spend Time With Jesus

 

 

Acts 4:13. (NKJV)

 

13.Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.

 

Just as the religious leaders of that day could tell that Peter and John had been with Jesus, the world can tell when you have been in the presence of God. Why? Because spending time in the presence of God changes you. For example, the people marveled at Peter and John because of their words, yet these were both uneducated and untrained men. Also, the people could actually see Peter and John’s boldness, when Peter has previously denied Jesus three times! The countenance and understanding of these disciples had changed just from having been with Jesus. So, if you think you have been spending time in the presence of the Lord yet you have not changed for the better in any real and tangible way, then you need to check up on which lord you have been spending time with!
