The Heart

 

 

 

Mark 11:23. (NKJV)

 

23. "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says."

 

Notice, Jesus says, "… and does not doubt in his heart." Even if you have doubt in your head, you can still believe with your heart. In fact, you may have a considerable amount of doubt in your head when you start walking by faith -- but your head is not your heart.

 

What do you really believe in your heart? THAT is the question you should be concerned with. I have had things I was believing for while my mind was shouting and screaming as loud as it could, "IT WILL NEVER COME TO PASS. IT WON'T WORK. THAT CAN'T HAPPEN," and my body was trembling from what my mind was saying. But God said, "Do it," and in my spirit, I said, "I'm going for it all the way." And those things I was believing for came to pass, because I believed in my heart that God would do what He said in His Word. What God did for me, He will also do for you, because He is not a respecter of persons, and He always honors His Word.
