We Are In A Wrestling Match

 

 

 

Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV)

 

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

 

In this verse we are told that we are in a wrestling match. When you become born-again, you are in this wrestling match automatically. We are told that we are not wrestling flesh and blood. Then this verse reveals to us what we are wrestling against. People are not the problem. It is the spirit behind or the spirit motivating them, that is who we are wrestling against. This verse reveals that.

 

The good news is we have available to us the "Training Manual" as it were, the Bible. All the moves or promises to defeat the opponent are available to us. We must learn them and know them so we can keep our opponent from overcoming us.
