You Are Important to God

Genesis 6:5-8. (NKJV)

5. Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6. And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.

7. So the LORD said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them."

8. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

No matter how bad things look and how bad the world around you seems to be, you can still make a difference. Just look at Noah. Noah certainly did something right to have found grace in the eyes of God -- and what Noah did ultimately changed the mind of God. As a result, the Lord saved Noah and his family. And through Noah, the Lord preserved the entire human race. So, don’t ever buy the devil’s lie that you do not matter, that you are a minority, and that you could never make a difference. You are important to God. With God, you are a majority and can change the destiny of lives throughout the world.
