You Are Snared with The Words of Your Mouth

Proverbs 6:2

2 You are snared by the words of your mouth; You are taken by the words of your mouth.

Think about it, you are snared or trapped with the words of your mouth. Remember, we have an adversary, Satan, and he is a legalist and will snare you or trap you with your words. Proverbs did not say you are snared by the thoughts of your head. It does not become a trap until you say it with your mouth. You could think some thoughts that could ultimately be a trap, if you acted on them.  But it is your mouth that springs that trap. So, make a point to watch that trap that many times snares us. It all starts with your words.
