You Are Valuable To God

 

 

 

I Corinthians 6:19,20 (NKJV)

 

19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

 

20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

 

Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. God and the Lord Jesus dwell in us in the person pf the Holy Spirit. We need to be aware of this fact. If people were truly aware of this fact, they would not do some of the things that they do with their bodies. We have been purchased with the blood of Jesus. A tremendous price has been paid. 

 

When you purchase something that was expensive, you take care of it and protect it. Jesus paid the ultimate price for us. We should glorify God in our bodies and do all we can to show Jesus we appreciate the price He paid for us.
