Your Authority

 

 

 

Luke 10:19. (NKJV)

 

19."Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

 

The Lord tells us  we have authority to trample on serpents and scorpions. This is referring to the enemy Satan and his demons. Notice the Lord did not say fight them. He said trample on them. Literally walk right over them. But He did not stop there . Jesus goes on to say He gave us authority over ALL the power or ability of the enemy. 

 

Many Christians say they are busy fighting the devil. We are not told to fight him. Jesus already has overcome him and He gave that victory and the authority to us. So we as believers in Christ Jesus need to start walking in the authority Jesus gave us.
