Your Relationship With God Should Come First

 

 

 

Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)

 

33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

 

God is not opposed to us having material possessions. But there is a priority we should have in our lives. We see in this verse we should seek first, the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. But He did not stop there. The verse goes on to say that all these THINGS will be added. 

 

So God is not opposed to us having things, but we must seek God first. Our relationship with God and the Lord Jesus should come first. Then we will be blessed with the things.
