Your Steps Are Sure

 

Psalm 37:31 (NKJV):

The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

 

The Spirit of the Lord leads us, as believers, by our heart. In other words, by our recreated human spirit. This Psalm confirms that we can and should trust the leading of the Lord that He has placed in our heart. For when we do what we know is right in our heart, we have the Lord’s Word that our steps are sure and that He will not let us fall.
