Your Words Are Important

 

 

 

Mark 11:23 (NKJV)

 

23. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

 

You have what you say, not what you just believe or think. Even when it is God’s will for you and you have His promise, this still does not guarantee you will receive your blessing! Your words and your beliefs have to first line up with the Word of God. Otherwise, you prohibit God from bringing His blessings forth in your life. In effect, you short-circuit the power of God in your life.

 

You control your own destiny –- not God. You have been given a free will – the right to think, choose, and make decisions in your life. You control your life by all that you believe, say, and then act upon. Therefore, it is your responsibility to take advantage of the promises God makes to you in His Word, and act accordingly.
