Day 210

NOBILITY

"A man of noble birth went

to a distant country to have himself

appointed king and then to return."

Luke 19:12

FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, I was born a peasant's birth, but My Father is a king. I borrowed a cattle's feed trough for My head, yet My Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills. I had no home of My own, yet My Father owns all the property in the world. I had no royal garments, yet I was clothed in My Father's righ-teousness. For you, I gave up kingship temporarily to be your Savior. I am nobility—and you are a child of the king.

A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
Lord, You gave us parables to help define Your kingdom and its work. Each one points to Your nobility. In Your kingdom You rule with love, and not with an iron fist. And to think that I am part of Your royal family! Lord, thank You for giving me Your nobility.

SIMPLE TRUTH

He extends His royal scepter, and to our hearts He says, "Come!"
