Day 172

MY CONFIDENCE

For you have been my hope,
O Sovereign Lord,
my confidence since my youth.
Psalms 71:5

FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, when you look away from Me like Peter did in the water, you will sink every time. Confidence is not something you build up inside yourself. You don't find courage and confidence by gazing at your mirror reflection. Let Me be your mirror. Let Me be your confidence. Let My words fill your mind, heart, and spirit. Look up, not down.

A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
Lord, You turned a timid teenager into a blossoming creation of Yours. If anything good ever comes from this life, it will be because You have been my confidence. Your Word has given me strength to believe in myself. Your love has given me cour-age to pursue the dreams You gave. I owe everything to You.

SIMPLE TRUTH

Jesus loves us, just as we are becoming.
