An Open Ear

Isaiah 50:4  ‘He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.’ NIV

Does this statement make you question your discipline with the Lord? Am I sensitive to the voice of the Lord? Can I distinguish His voice at the start of my day?

I must admit I am challenged at the beginning of my day to be still long enough to hear the voice of the Lord instructing me. I have my morning routine that does not include hearing God right from the onset of opening my eyes. However, I do have this discipline of being awakened by God in my early consciousness and preaching or teaching from the revelation He pours out. My inner ear, is trained to hear God speaking to me through the best sermons in my spirit man that will never be spoken from a podium.

Every new season in your life is begins with an instruction from the Lord. You have to be open to receive His still voice speaking into your inner ear, or your inner man.
