I Want Eyes That See and Perceive!

Deuteronomy 29:3-4 “With your own eyes you saw those great trials, those signs and great wonders. But to this day the Lord has not given you a mind that understands or eyes that see or ears that hear.” NIV

Take a moment to step back into time, and be an adult that left Egypt and experienced first hand the deliverance of a nation in a day.  In the power of recall you saw the devastation that the plagues brought; you saw the suffering that the Egyptians lived through; and you experienced the supernatural provision of your God, because He made a covenant to your grandfathers.  Yet, you cannot perceive or imagine that He can do great things for you in your present.
Many of us are like that today, we know our history, we have an expectancy for our future, but we struggle with our present. Our present highlights or failures and short coming; our present can keep us in the safety zone that we never push to break the invisible ceiling of contentment.

To perceive means, to become aware or conscious of something. A great visual of that, the light bulb goes off, things are highlighted and the full meaning or understanding is realized.
My friend I challenge you today, to be aware or perceive that God can bring to past in your life, the things that you are standing in faith for.
