Romans 8:35

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

 

In this season of great distress around us, we can all ask ourselves this question, ‘who shall separate us?’

 

If I ask you the question I would expect details from you: I want to know your distress, the persecutions that you are facing; somebody might tell me of the famine in the third world countries or the famine in their city: this might describe the nakedness that is happening in Louisiana because of the loss of their homes: it could be the perils of life through the cost of war.

 

Whatever the person you face as a person or as an overtaking circumstance there is an answer for you today.

 

We will choose the love of Christ, because of everyone that is reading this devotional today has a testimony that they can share to encourage themselves or a person close by them. Whatever you are facing remember there is life and the fullness of life in Jesus Christ.
