Bound to Christ - Romans 7:1-6

In this episode we explore **Epistle to the Romans 7:1–6, where the Apostle Paul explains the believer’s relationship to the law after coming to Christ. Using the illustration of marriage, Paul shows that just as death releases someone from the legal bond of marriage, believers have died to the law through the body of Christ.

This death to the law is not meant to lead to lawlessness, but to a new relationship. Through Christ, believers now belong to Him—the One who was raised from the dead—so that they might bear fruit for God.

Paul contrasts two ways of living: the old life in the flesh, where the law exposed and stirred up sinful passions, and the new life in the Spirit, where believers serve God in freedom. Through the gospel, Christians are released from the old way of the written code and are brought into the new way of the Spirit.
