As God directs the Jewish people back to the land of Israel after centuries of wandering and persecution, it is incumbent upon us to partner with Him in assisting the needy. Over 20% of Israelis wallow in poverty. Hope for Israel seeks to channel funds into the hands of Messianic Jewish (Jews who believe in Jesus) congregations and ministries in Israel that provide humanitarian support for these needy Israelis. There are over 150 Messianic Jewish congregations in Israel, many of whom provide such humanitarian support, but most Christian and Jewish organizations which assist Israel bypass the Messianic Jews. Here’s how you can put the face of Jesus on your giving to Israel. See some of the ministries which with Hope for Israel works. In the archives, Rabbi Cowen teaches about Messianic Judaism, Jewish history and the Bible.
