Is It Wrong for Christians to Celebrate Birthdays?

In this episode, Pastor Mike answers a common question: Is it okay for Christians to celebrate birthdays?

He explains that the Bible neither commands nor prohibits birthday celebrations. While birthdays are mentioned in Scripture, they are not treated as sinful or wrong. Instead, Pastor Mike highlights a broader biblical principle—honoring and appreciating people is good and appropriate.

From passages like Proverbs 31 to Paul’s encouragement and recognition of believers, the Bible shows that giving “good words” about others is meaningful. Birthdays can be a simple way to express gratitude, encouragement, and appreciation for the lives God has given.

This teaching brings balance—reminding us to honor God above all, while still celebrating the people He has placed in our lives.
