This sermon teaches that God’s love is fully manifested in sending His only begotten Son as the propitiation for our sins, so that those who believe have eternal life and stand before God as accepted and perfected in Christ. It explains that authentic believers receive this love, have it placed within them by the Spirit, and then let it flow through them in sacrificial love for others—so that perfect love drives out tormenting fear of judgment, empowers obedience, and gives victorious faith that overcomes the world.
