Two people holding hands on a table. Text that says what is love?

Everywhere you look, symbols of love fill the air. It happens every year as the world prepares to celebrate Valentine's Day. Flowers and heart-shaped chocolates fill the shelves in preparation for the day of love. You heart may not feel as full as the shelves as Valentine's Day approaches. Do not lose hope. No matter what type of love you are celebrating this year, remember that God loves you!

God loves YOU. He loves everything about you, even knowing the exact number of hairs on your head. John 3:16 famously states "God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." God loves us so much that he sent His Son so that we may have eternal life.

Love is not only a feeling, it is an action. We, as believers in Jesus Christ, are called to love others, because He first loved us. As you go forward this week, how can you show love to your neighbors, church community, or friends?

Join Harvest + Greg Laurie as he reminds us that God's love is active and was displayed on the cross. Because He loved us first, our response should be to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. When we love God as we should, He will lead us to love others and everything will find its place.
